Services

  1. Financial statement audits, reviews, compilations

This is the core work of the audit department. Auditing is highly collaborative in nature, requiring that we work closely with our clients. We keep channels open with our clients and are careful to reduce the burden placed on them as much as possible. Equally, we are happy to work as necessary with parent company auditors and implement procedures to ensure that our audits will be accepted without question in Japan.

  2. 401(k) plan audits

We offer audits of 401(k) plans that qualify as large plans. An annual audit is required once a 401(k) has more than a specified number of participants (generally 100, exceptionally 120). We offer limited scope audits for 401(k) plans. This type of audit is routine work that we are able to carry out regardless of the client’s industry, and we are able to offer this service at a comparatively low cost. 3. Due diligence

We offer due diligence services for mergers and acquisitions and other scenarios. Due diligence starts with confirming what the client wants. We examine what the client wants to achieve and draw up a due diligence checklist based on our research. If the emphasis is on profitability analysis, we will bring in experts with detailed knowledge of the relevant industry. Financial and tax due diligence aside, we also work with attorneys to offer legal due diligence services.

  4. Other financial reporting

We offer other financial reporting services in response to individual client needs.
    Examples include:

    1. Detailed reporting where there is suspicion of accounting fraud
    2. Corporate valuations
